Terms of use

Version 1 of 16/10/2026 - the same terms every company accepts in the program.

1. The program

LeadTheFleet is licensed by Capt. Raouf Nader (the seller) to the company named in the license, for the computers and vessels of its license (the free trial: one computer for 3 months). It is licensed, not sold: it may not be copied, changed, sold or given to anybody outside the company.

2. Better reading for every user

The program learns from the corrections of its users. When a user corrects a value the program read on a paper or an invoice (or shows where it is), this copy sends to the seller's server:

• the picture of that page, with a frame around the value;
• what the program read, what the user made it, and the printed words next to it;
• the company, the copy (office or vessel) and the version of the program.

These pages can hold personal data of the crew (names, dates, numbers of papers) and data of the company and its suppliers. The seller uses them only to check that the program learned right, so that a wrong lesson does not reach the other companies. They are kept encrypted, seen by the seller only, never sold or given to anybody, and deleted 90 days at the latest after the seller decided on them. What the seller approves goes to every company as printed words and places only - never a value, a name or a page.

3. The part of the company

The company confirms that it may give these pages to the seller for this purpose (its crew and suppliers told where its rules ask for it). The free trial sends the same.

4. The data of the company stays its own

The data of the company (crew, contracts, payroll, cash) stays on its computers; the copies sync and keep backups only as the company sets them (a backup is encrypted on the computer first).

5. Use and responsibility

The program helps the company; it does not replace its checks. The company checks the dates of the papers, the payroll and the amounts before it uses them. The program is given as it is: the seller is not responsible for a loss from a value read wrong or not checked.

6. Accepting

Using the program means accepting these terms. They are accepted on this computer by a user of the company, for the company. Without accepting them the program cannot be used. A new version of these terms is asked again.
